Welcome to Skis.com! We are a Michigan-based retailer that has been in the skiing industry since 1990. Our company owns and operates a number of retail stores and we have been using the Internet as an extension of our retail shops since 1997, that's an amazing 13 years of experience on the Internet! We hope that you will find anything and everything you need for skiing right here at Skis.com.

Our owner and company founder Steve Kopitz is an avid skier with over 49 years of skiing experience under his belt (he's 55 now). When he was a child he dreamt of owning a ski shop and Skis.com is the online expansion of his dream realized. Steve lives, eats, and breathes skiing. Annually he takes 2-4 skiing trips and has carved up the snow at over 25 ski resorts in the western United States. He's also been skiing in the Swiss Alps and even the Bugaboos in Canada, where he went heli-skiing. He's raised a family of skiers with his wife Kathy, who had to be converted to a skier before he would marry her. His two children, Brad and Jess, were skiing as soon as they could walk and Steve has made it his job to know as much as he can about skiing so he can share it with you right here.
