Why do you recommend a discount on merchandise?

To increase your order volume! (A discount is never required, but we highly recommend it) In order to remain profitable and continue to serve our merchant partners for many more years to come, International Checkout must collect a margin over the merchandise value. This margin is built into the international customer's Shipping and Handling fee and is added to our deeply discounted shipping rates.

When you provide a discount to International Checkout, that discount is passed along to the international consumer, in its entirety, in the form of a reduced shipping and handling fee. Six years of data confirms that providing a discount direct positive impact on your international order volume.

Why do you request free domestic shipping to your depot?

We pass along the savings to the international customers! While providing free domestic shipping to our Los Angeles area depot is not required, we do encourage our merchant partners to do so. Free standard / ground shipping is passed on to the international customers, so they are not subject to both domestic and international shipping fees.

What if a customer in the USA wants to ship to an international destination?

That's OK, International Checkout will process the order! We understand that people travel, move, and want to send gifts to their loved ones far away. International Checkout allows customers in any country to ship to any other country they choose, subject to the approval of our payment verification team.

Customers may choose Standard or Priority shipping!
Real time price quotes for both Standard and Priority shipping are provided at checkout.

Most shipments up to 5 lbs. receive a complimentary priority upgrade due to the deeply discounted rates received from our carriers. Average transit times, assuming normal customs clearance, from the day packages are shipped from the International Checkout depot:

While the ease of pre-paying duties and taxes at a guaranteed rate appeals to many; some savvy international shoppers prefer to pay landed cost upon delivery.

Exactly like any other domestic order on your site! International Checkout has a purchasing team that works around the clock placing orders on our merchant partners' sites on behalf of international customers, following the domestic checkout procedures that are already in place, shipping to our California depot.

How does International Checkout pay its Merchant Partners?

We pay in guaranteed US Dollars! When our purchasing team checks out on your site, they will pay with a US corporate credit card. Merchant partners never need to extend credit or terms.

What happens when International Checkout receives the merchandise?

We inspect, re-pack, and ship the order that same day! Each package is opened and inspected for damage and accuracy (correct color, size, etc.). Then, the merchandise is re-packed and processed for shipment. The end customer receives a shipping confirmation and tracking number that same day.

How are Returns and Exchanges handled?

We facilitate Returns and Exchanges in accordance with the policies already posted on the merchant's site! International customers must submit a Return Authorization request to International Checkout. Our RMA specialists will then determine whether the merchandise is eligible for return based upon the merchant's existing Return and Exchange policies. When an RMA is issued, the customer ships the merchandise to our depot. The merchant will process the return or exchange exactly the same as it would any other domestic order.
